Logan Alan Threlkeld

Logan was 27, and a friend to all the people he met. Whether he knew it or not he had a smile and especially a laugh that lit up a room. Logan grew up in Hillsboro where he met some of the most important friends who would grow up together and create endless memories. For the past four years, Logan and his life partner and best friend, Dacey, had been continuing making memories that they started in high school and building a life together in Indianapolis. She will continue to care for their two cats and help keep his memory alive.

Logan is also survived by his loving parents Jeff and Ashlie Threlkeld and Virginia and Arturo Silva, who all together gave him a full and loving life full of cherished memories of growing up next door to the park and roller skating and so much more.

Logan also leaves behind three loving sisters, Lacie (Dylan) Freed, Lindsey Threlkeld, and Hallie Murphy, who in adulthood had grown closer to than ever before. He will forever be remembered by his sisters as the loud and crazy teenager with drawings on his bedroom walls.

He was also looking forward to becoming an uncle in December to his first niece, Lillian Ann Freed.

Logan is survived also by numerous close relatives: His Aunt Darla (Randy), Aunt Lori, Uncle Heath (Michelle) and Aunt Amber. Grandma Beulah, Great Grandmother Betty and Grandma Melody. Step Grandparents Natalie and James Cochran. He will be deeply missed by many cousins near and far.

Apart from family Logan leaves behind close friends, Trey Mitchell, Hayden and Trent Catney and so many others who will cherish their memories made together.

Proceeding Logan in death: Grandpa Bill, Grandpa Fred Threlkeld and cousin Zach Freeman, Close friend Michael Brown and many other dear friends he had loved and lost during his journey with recovery.

Remember him fondly when you hear a Red Hot Chili Peppers song and know he sent it for you, to let you know he is at peace now.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 PM Thursday at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with a service at 5 PM.
