Obituary

Larry Lee Cummings of Ladoga passed away Monday morning at home. He was 62.

Larry worked at Steel Technologies in Whitesville. He enjoyed playing golf, riding his motorcycle, mushroom hunting, and fishing. He attended Southmont High School until he joined the U.S. Army to serve his country.

Born Dec. 9, 1960, he was the son of Braden "Lee" Cummings and Donna Rae Daulby. He married Karri King on Dec. 9, 1985.

Surviving family includes: wife, Karri Cummings; son, Jeramiah and his wife Kourtney Cummings, their daughters Rylan and Jaelyn; son Jared and his wife Kelsey Cummings; three brothers, Danny (Dawn) Cummings, David "Butch" (Rita) Cummings, Carl (Jamie) Crowder; four sisters, Marcia Cummings, Kim (Dewayne) Bowling, Ladonna (Gary) Edminston, Candy Crowder; nieces Laken Brutans and Crystal Townsend; two sisters-in-law, Eddie Jean (Tim) Hudson, Paulette (Steve) King; two step-brothers, Brian (Sherrie) and Walter (Mary); several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends; as well as his best friend, Izzy.

He was preceded in death by a son, Israel Paul Cummings, father Lee Cummings, step-mother Connie, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Shirley King.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 28th at the Lake Holiday Clubhouse, 5000 South 400 West, Crawfordsville from 5 PM to 9 PM with a meal being served. Military Funeral Honors will be at 6 PM. He will be laid to rest at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
