Kimberly J. Stevens of Darlington passed away Saturday night at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.  She was 56.

Ms. Stevens was a legal secretary and paralegal in Lebanon and Carmel, then executive assistant at Tipmont for 14 years, after which she was office manager and executive assistant at Raybestos, then as a sales rep for WIT Transmission.  She liked genealogy, dancing, music, singing, mowing and was a big part of her church community, where she was a Sunday school teacher.  She was a member of the Congregational Christian Church in Darlington.  She was formerly a member of the Moose, Eagles, Elks and American Legion Auxiliary.

Born Oct. 20, 1963 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Donald George Rainey and Anna Mae Snow Rainey.  She graduated from Lebanon High School and earned a degree from Purdue in economics.

Surviving family includes: two daughters, Sarah Stevens Borsdorf (John), Andrea Stevens; son, Sean Stevens; sister, Khristi Sommers; two grandchildren, Jacqueline Borsdorf and Killian Borsdorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM Saturday, July 18 ^th at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 6 PM, led by Pastor Zach Rainey and Chaplain Boris Posso.
