Kevin Eric Skaggs of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday afternoon at Lane House.  He was 62.

Mr. Skaggs was a mechanic for Ford at several dealerships.  He attended school in Brownsburg and then went to Ford Technical School in Michigan.  He loved to go antiquing, collecting sports cards, watch sports and go fishing.  All of these were second to his love for his grandchildren.

Born Oct. 26, 1957 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Robert B. Skaggs and Delia Irene Carter Skaggs.  He married Judith "Judy" Szumlinski on Nov. 16, 1979 in Michigan.  She passed away March 6, 2007.

Surviving family includes: two sons, Michael (Stephanie) Skaggs of Terre Haute, Robert (Nikki) Skaggs of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren, Jacob, Destiny, Skyler, Austin, Colton, Myrna; two brothers, Kenny and Bruce; four sisters, Sue, Lavon, Donette, and Elaiane.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 PM Sunday at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville.  Cremation will take place after the visitation.
