Kelly Jo Smith-Harrison of Wingate passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 15.  She was 53.

Kelly previously worked for the North Montgomery Community School Corp. for many years as a secretary to the superintendent, tech specialist and bookkeeper for the high school.

Born July 20, 1966 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Richard Smith and Donna Schelle Smith.  She graduated from North Montgomery High School.

Surviving family includes: her loving partner, Kenny Harrison; son, Jared Ryker (Ellie); daughter, Megan Harshbarger (Sam); mother, Donna Smith; sister, Shelly Beach; five grandchildren, Wyatt Harshbarger, Rylin Harshbarger, Aubree Gowers, Payton Ryker and Brightyn Ryker; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Dick Smith, brother, Todd Smith and grandparents, Jacob and Mary Schelle.

A Celebration of Life for Kelly Smith-Harrison will be held at a later date.  The family requests donations to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big Four Arch Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
