Kathy Welliver of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday morning at home.  She was 61.

Kathy enjoyed cooking and canning.  She liked to exercise, go for walks, and go swimming.  Most of all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  She spent over 30 years at R.R. Donnelley, working as a press operator.

Born Jan. 14, 1962 in Willard, Ohio, she was the daughter of Garnet "Bud" DeMumbrum and Janet Hazlett DeMumbrum.  She graduated from North Montgomery.  She married "the love of her life" David "Jenk" Welliver on Dec. 20, 2007, who survives.

Surviving family includes: husband, David "Jenk" Welliver; son, Jeff (Melva) Gegner; daughter, Deirdre Gegner; mother, Janet DeMumbrum; three sisters, Michelle DeMumbrum, Cassandra (Bill) Milam and Karen Naylor; brother, Gary DeMumbrum; grandson, Brett Neier; two granddaughters, Katie Neier and Tatum Gegner, along with several step-children and many step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her dad in 2015.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM on Monday, March 20th at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 1 PM, led by Pastor Tim Lueking and Pastor Steve Wilke.  After the service, she will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Avenue.
