Kathryn L. (Nay) Tomey of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday evening at the age of 90.

Mrs. Tomey was a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church.  She worked many years as a dental assistant and retired from Kroger in 1992.  She attended Martinsville High School.

Born March 18, 1930 in Brown County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Hobart Nay and Charlotte (Clephane) Nay.  She married Horace Tomey on Nov. 9, 1947 in Martinsville and they were married 71 years until his passing on Dec. 3, 2018.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Kathy (Neil) Hubbard of Lake Holiday; daughter-in-law, Cindy Tomey of Crawfordsville; brother, Jack Nay of Martinsville; three grandchildren, Sean (Kristina) Tomey, Kristin (Mike) Vallaly, Kathryn Peachey and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robin Tomey, two brothers, Roger Nay and Hobart J. Nay.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Feb. 15 at 1 PM at Nebo Memorial Park in Martinsville with Pastor Steve Wilke officiating.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.

The family was very blessed by the help from Meals on Wheels the last few years and asks that donations in Kathryn's memory be made to the Meals on Wheels, 2428 W. Winslow, Drive, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
