Karen Sue Myers

November 27, 1946 to August 26, 2025

Karen Sue Myers of Crawfordsville passed away on August 26, 2025 at Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville. She was 78.

Born on November 27, 1946 in Crawfordsville to Carl Myers and Velma Myers Higbie, Karen graduated Ladoga High School in 1964, she then went on to Ball State University and graduated with her Bachelors in 1967 and her Masters in 1972. Karen taught for 8 years at Western Boone High School and then a year at Gateway College of Evangelism. She then went on to be the Editorial Designer at World Evangelism Center.

Karen was a member of One Way Pentecostal Apostolic Church, she enjoyed playing games and reading.

Surviving family includes: sister, Ann (Darrell) Hole; and nieces, Cindy Crain, Tamara (Steven) Lee, and Darlene Jones.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Myers, and nephew Carl Myers.

Visitation will begin at 10 am until the time of service at 11 am on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the Burkhart Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Ladoga Cemetery. Pastor Steven Lee will officiate.
