Karen D. Morgan of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday morning at her residence. She was 83.

Born Oct. 28, 1937 in Ladoga, she was the daughter of Wilburn Long, Jr. and Violet Rivers Long. She attended Ladoga schools. She married Rowen Keith Morgan on June 30, 1956.

Karen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Karen was an avid bowler for many years. She was also in Euchre Club and Bunco Club.

Surviving family includes: two sons, Kevin Morgan of Indianapolis, Scott Morgan of Crawfordsville; three grandsons, three granddaughters and six great grandchildren. She is also survived by eight siblings.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 siblings.

There will not be a public service for Karen. Cremation will take place followed by a private family memorial, the date to be determined at a later time. Arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home.
