Joyce Marie Watkins of Waynetown passed away Thursday morning at home.  She was 81.

Mrs. Watkins was retired antique dealer.  She and her husband owned and operated the Linden Antique Mall.  He was retired from R.R. Donnelley and Sons.   She was a member of the Eagles and American Legion Auxiliary.  She liked to shop for antiques, crochet and read.

Born June 9, 1939 in Clairfield, Tennessee, she was the daughter of George Massingale and Maggie Richards Massingale Thompson.  She attended Crawfordsville High School.  She married William J. Watkins on July 9, 1955.  He passed away Oct. 20, 2008.

Surviving family includes: three daughters, Shelly (Vaughn) Keyes, Tina Watkins and Jenny Walker; sister, Sue (Sonny) Shelton; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 PM Monday at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 2 PM, with Pastor David Bower officiating.  After the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
