Joseph David Osborne passed away Sunday morning at The Waters of Indianapolis.  He was 84.

Mr. Osborne served his country in the U.S. Marines from May 1958 to June 1961.  He worked primarily as a tool and dye maker.

Born March 29, 1939 in Lowell, Indiana, he was the son of Oliver Osborn and Sarah Nosler Osborne.  He was the eighth of nine children.  He has four surviving children, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  One of his children preceded him in death.

He requested to not have a service and his family is honoring those wishes.  Cremation arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
