Joseph Eugene "Joe" Brown of Crawfordsville passed away Monday afternoon at the St. Vincent Heart Center in Carmel.  He was 59.

Joe was baptized in the Ladoga Christian Church and later attended Woodland Heights Christian Church.  He was a jack-of-all-trades that worked several places over the years.

Born Jan. 4, 1964 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Terry H. Brown and Mary Beth Harrison Brown.  He graduated from Southmont in 1982 and attended Purdue.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Tiffany Brown of Indianapolis; mother, Mary Beth Brown of Ladoga; brother, Sean Brown (Angie); sister, Tonya Trinkle (David); friend and former spouse, Kathleen Brown; three nephews, Austin, Jarrett and Andrew; three nieces, Allie, Chloe and Addison; honorary nephew, Kaydenn Joseph; many aunts, uncles, cousins and family that were his support system.

He was preceded in death by his son, Pvt. Joshua E. Brown, USMC and his dad, Terry Brown.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 PM Friday at Clarks Hill Christian Church.  Services will begin at 5, led by Pastor Steve Wilke.  Private family burial will take place at the Linden Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
