John M. Hodges, Sr.

John M. Hodges, Sr. of Crawfordsville passed away Saturday night at Franciscan Health of Lafayette.  He was 72.

Born Dec. 13, 1951 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Chris Hodges and Marion Doyle Hodges.  He graduated from Coal Creek Central High School and worked as a brick mason.

Surviving family includes: three sons, John (April) Hodges, Jr., Ryan (Tawna) Hodges and Steven (Joetta) Hodges; five grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Isabella, Scarlette and Zane; two great-grandchildren, Raven and Ryland; six siblings, Janet, Joyce, Mimi, Sue, Bob and Tom.

A gathering in memory of John Hodges, Sr. will be held Friday from 3 PM to 5 PM at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash Avenue, Crawfordsville.
