Joan Kay Hutcheson of Crawfordsville passed away Friday morning at Life's Journey of Avon.  She was 87.

Mrs. Hutcheson was a member of First United Methodist Church since 1957.  She worked at Elston Bank for many years.  She was a 1951 graduate of Reelsville High School.

Born Nov. 8, 1933 in Cloverdale, she was the daughter of Glen Franklin Williams and Mary Hazel Thomas Williams.  She married James E. Hutcheson on Feb. 9, 1951 in Brazil.  He passed away Jan. 30, 2016.

Surviving family includes: son Mark Hutcheson (Rosemarie) of Crawfordsville; brother, Michael Williams (Linda); sister-in-law, Virginia Williams; five grandchildren, Mason (Kimberly), Hilarie (Vadim), Seth, Connor, Clay; seven great-grandchildren, Daelan, Alina, Daria, Samara, Adalynn, Keegan, and Daniel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Franklin Williams and daughter, Glenna McBee.

There will not be any public visitation or service.  A private service will be held Saturday, Sept. 18 ^th at the Oak Hill Mausoleum.  The family asks those in attendance to please wear a mask.  Burkhart Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
