Jena Jo Allen  passed away suddenly on August 24, 2026 at the age of 48.

Born in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Scott Allen and Mary Redmon Carter on May 12, 1978. Jena worked at Pace Dairy as a dock clerk. She enjoyed animals and anything related to nature, including birds and flowers. She volunteered at the Animal Welfare League even adopting furry friends. She was a volunteer for the Community Festival in Colfax and chair member of the Turning of the Leaves Festival in Thorntown. Jena was an amazing cook and loved listening to live music and taking pictures. Most of all she loved her family and friends.

Jena is survived by her partner, Dustin Leslie; mother, Mary Carter; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Scott Allen and brother, Brad Allen.

Memorial Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 from 5 to 7 PM at Burkhart Funeral Home. Service will follow visitation at 7 PM. Graveside service will take place on Saturday, September 12th at 11 am at Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington, Indiana.
