Jeffrey “Jeff” Alan Borders, 57, of Crawfordsville, Indiana passed away on September 11, 2026 at Franciscan Health of Lafayette. He was born on November 20, 1968, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, where he lived his entire life.

Jeff attended Crawfordsville High School and dedicated his working years to serving his community. Throughout his career, he worked at Schloot’s Furniture, ServiceMaster Restore and Crawfordsville School Corporation.

Jeff found joy in the simple things in life. He loved sitting outside on his porch, enjoying his favorite drinks- Mountain Dew and Sweet Tea-while keeping himself up to date on the weather and the latest news. Above all, Jeff cherished his family and treasured every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren. His grandsons held a very special place in his heart.

Jeff is survived by his girlfriend Misty Gass of Crawfordsville; his brother, Brian K. (Stephanie) Borders of Crawfordsville; his children, Stephanie M. (Kyle) Pritchett of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Kendra L. (Anthony) Canaday of Anderson, Indiana, and Deagan J. Borders of Crawfordsville, Indiana; and his two beloved grandsons, Maverick and Nathan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George F. (Judy) Borders and Helen L. Borders.

Jeff will be remembered for his love of family, his enjoyment of the quit moments at home, and the time he treasured with those closest to him. He leaves behind memories that will remain in the hearts of his family and loved ones.
