Jean Grace Doss

June 22, 1949 to January 15, 2026

Jean Grace Doss, age 76, passed away at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Chicago Illinois, on June 22, 1949 to Joseph and Bernice Heil Kolep. Jean worked for many years at Pace Dairy as a custodian. Any day of the week you could find Jean at the VFW, American Legion, Moose, Elks Lodge or the Eagles playing bingo, her absolute favorite pastime. Jean also loved spending her time with her grandkids and great grand kids, having a very special relationship with Evangeline and Roselynn.

Surviving family includes: daughters, Loretta (Matthew) Blaze and Jolene (Angie) Aarons; sons, Larry (Jennifer) Jennings, William Jennings and Jimmy Jennings; grandchildren, Ashley (Justin), Lawrence (Paige), Richard (Wendy), Daniel (Amanda), Kaleb, Jenna, Kaleb, Joshua, Emerald, Katelyn, December, Matthew II, Noah, Nikki, Taylor, Julian, Ava, Joseph, Raymond, Jacob, Darren (Veronica) and Robert; several great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Kolep, Robbie Kolep, Gracie Kempf; brothers, Chris Kolep, Charlie Kolep, and David Kolep; and several nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Raymond Jennings, and Bernard Jennings; sisters Tammy Kolep, Jenny Smith, and Yolanda Jennings; and brother, Joseph Kolep and Henry Kolep.

Visitation for Jean will start at 11 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM, on Saturday January, 24, at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W Wabash Ave, Crawfordsville. After the service the family would like to invite friends and family to the Union Hall.
