Obituary

Jimmy Janci of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday evening at Franciscan Health Lafayette.  He was 90.

Jimmy served his country in the U.S. Army.  He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Crawfordsville, the VFW and the American Legion.  He liked cooking, gardening and spending time with his beloved wife, Linda.

Born Oct. 7, 1932 in Gary, Indiana, he was the son of John Janci and Frances Quinley Janci.  Was the materials manager at Mid-States Steel and Wire, retiring from there.  He married the former Linda Lazzeroni.  She survives.

Surviving family includes: wife, Linda Janci; sister, Mary Cheilli; sister-in-law, Barbara (Gary) Enquist; many nieces and nephews.  In addition, he was father to a multitude of fur babies.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Norma.

Private graveside services will be held at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
