Jack E. Booher of Martinsville, formerly of Darlington, passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Waters of Martinsville.  He was 81.

Born Nov. 6, 1941 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of John E. Booher and Glydas Pitts Booher.  He graduated from Darlington High School.  He was a farmer and rancher who worked for several ranchers in several different areas.

Surviving family includes: four children, Teresa Roembke of Franklin, Tommy Whitaker of Franklin, Todd Whitaker of Bargersville and Kolby Booher of Indianapolis; brother, Rodney Booher of Darlington; sister, Louanna Remley of Darlington; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from Noon to 1:30 PM Saturday, Jan. 28 ^th at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.  A graveside service will then be held at 2 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery in Darlington, led by Pastor Ron Threlkeld.
