Ina “Ann” Mae Johnson

Ina “Ann” Mae Johnson, 79 years old, of Linden, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026 at St. Mary’s Nursing Home.

She was born on December 12, 1946 in Russell Springs, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elvis Ray Owens and Virgie Lois Owens.

Ina was known for her caring, funny, loving heart and her passion for Elvis Presley, her dogs and her job as a waitress. She loved fishing, riding motorcycles and hanging out with family and friends. She absolutely cherished her role as an aunt and sister.

Ina is survived by her sister, Margie Engle of Lafayette, Indiana, brother, Jerry (Rhonda) Owens of Mont Belvieu, Texas, brother, James Owens of Mont Belvieu, Texas, brother, David Owens of Lafayette, Indiana, brother, William Owens of Linden, Indiana, brother, Elvis Ray Owens Jr., niece, Tasha Engle of Lafayette, Indiana, niece, Jennifer Owens of Mont Belvieu, Texas, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Roger Dale Owens and Merle Travis Owens and her sister, Connie Sue Biddle.
