Helen Borders

Helen L. Borders of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday evening at Franciscan Health of Lafayette.  She was 76.

Born April 4, 1950 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of John Kelso and Mary Frances (Jarvis) Kelso.  She attended Crawfordsville schools.  She enjoyed Bingo, going shopping, gossip and going on vacations with her sister.

Surviving family includes: two sons, Jeff Borders and Brian (Stephanie) Borders, both of Crawfordsville; sister, Nancy Sarver of Crawfordsville; five grandchildren, Daegan, Stephanie, Kendra, Breanna, Dyllon; three great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jadlyn and Elijah.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Robert Kelso.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Tuesday, August 11th at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 1 PM.  After the service, she will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
