Gustave Piepenburg was born January 26, 1943 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Lillian and Gustave. He lived a full and happy life surrounded by family and friends. Gus joined the U.S.A.F. and was stationed at Nellis AFB near Las Vegas. Afterward, he pursued a career in law enforcement and corporate security in Nevada, Wisconsin and Indiana. He married Olivia on Veteran's Day in 1967. Gus enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was an avid reader and liked travel, sports and spending time outdoors.

Gus passed away on September 19, 2019 and is survived by: his wife, Olivia; children, Gus Jr. and Vanessa (Michael); sister-in-law, Helga; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League, 1104 Big Four Arch Rd., Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
