Glenn C. Lighthart of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday afternoon at Franciscan East in Lafayette.  He was 62.

Glenn worked up until the last couple of months for Ratcliff Homes driving a truck and really loved his job.  He liked to go places on spur of the moment trips and travel the countryside.  He loved his cat, Cricket.  He attended Crossroads Church of the Nazarene.  He came to know the Lord in his final months and was baptized.

Born Nov. 12, 1958 in Rockford, Illinois, he was the son of Donald E. Lighthart and Nancy C. Nicholls Calvert.  He attended school in Rockford.  He married Linda Anderson on Jan. 24, 2020 and very much loved his wife, as well as becoming part of her family.

Survivors include: wife, Linda Lighthart of Crawfordsville; mother, Nancy Calvert of Rockford; son, Chris Johnston of California; daughter, Dorothy Wrightsman (Casey) of California and their son, Liam; brother, Donnie Lighthart (Lorena); sister, Debbie Johnson (Kenny); step-son, Richard Stadler (Vanessa) with their children, Sevie and Sully; step-daughter, Jennifer Himes (Brad) with their children, Bella, Geran, Zach and Levi; father-in-law, Richard Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 10 AM to Noon Thursday, Jan. 7 ^th at Crossroads Community Church of the Nazarene.  Services will begin at Noon, led by Pastor Mark Roberts.  Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
