Edlawn Warner

Edlawn Warner of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at home.  He was 61.

Mr. Warner was a God-fearing man who loved the Lord.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Crawfordsville.  He worked in food service as a cook at several places, most recently at Burger King.  He loved cooking and wanted to start his own food truck.  He was also previously employed at Nucor.  He had a lawn service and enjoyed doing yardwork, as well as cleaning houses.  Most of all, he loved his children and his whole family.

Born Jan. 24, 1961 in St. John's, Antigua, he was the son of Egen Warner, Sr. and Geraldine Charles Warner.

Surviving family includes: three children, Emily, Elizabeth, and Michael; mother, Geraldine Warner; siblings, Andrea Warner, Demorie Warner Longstreet, Claudia Germain, Valande' Warner, Egen H-M Warner, Jr., Corgen Warner Goodwin, Clazon Warner, Oshea Warner Younger, Donalis Warner: fourteen nieces and nephews along with six great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Egen Warner, Sr. along with a brother, Paul Warner and a sister, Erika Warner.

Visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM Thursday, November 17 ^th at First Baptist Church, 1905 Lebanon Road, Crawfordsville, with services starting at 1 PM, led by Rev. Alan Stover.  After the service, he will be laid to rest at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery on State Road 47 South.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
