Ed Davis of Linnsburg passed away Tuesday night at home.  He was 67.

Ed was a machinist, retiring from Acuity five years ago.  He liked doing things outdoors, like hunting and fishing as well as riding his motorcycle.

Born April 23, 1952 in Greencastle, he was the son of Ted Davis and Myrtle Long Davis.  He was a 1970 graduate of North Putnam High School.

Surviving family includes: four children, son, Justin Davis (Trisha); daughter, Meredith Boaz; son, Jacob Davis (Debbie); son, Jonah Davis (Crystal); sister, Cathy Boller; eleven grandchildren, Zach, Levi, Micah, Elijah, Isaiah, Jailyn, Janiyah, Madeline, Emerson, Aaron and Cody; four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frank.

In keeping with his wishes, there will not be a public service.  His family will remember him in a private gathering.  Arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home.
