Donna Kellerman, 75, of Crawfordsville, passed away in her home with her husband by her side on Feb. 21 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Donna was born on January 21, 1951 in Tuscola, Illinois to Margaret and Glenn Armstrong, deceased.  Donna moved with her family to Crawfordsville in 1955.  She always enjoyed living in the country surrounded by her many kittens and dogs who found their home on the farm.

She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1969 and married Steven G. Corwin (deceased) on December 26, 1970.  Together they had two boys, Michael and William "Bill".

She was a devoted wife and mother who truly enjoyed her careers as a caregiver in our local hospital, nursing homes and as a private caregiver until her retirement.  On April 25, 1995 Donna married Doug Kellerman.  They recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary.  Her family includes Michael and Bill, along with four stepchildren: Melissa Kellerman (Scott), Jamie Sams (Gary), Paula Yates (Jack) and Sara Sigmon.

Donna was also blessed with eight grandchildren: Abby, Brett, Madison, Isabella, Zach, Kaitlynn, Paul and Kevin.  In addition, she is survived by eight great-grandchildren.  She is survived by a brother, Tom Armstrong (Nancy) and sister, Elizabeth "BJ" Parry (Paul).

As per Donna's wishes, she will be cremated with arrangements being handled by Burkhart Funeral Home.  It was her desire to one day be placed with her husband, Doug, as he is laid to rest.

She wished to be remembered privately by those who loved her and those she loved.  There will be no funeral services or calling.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in her name for Lung Cancer Research was her wish.
