David Stephens, 59, passed peacefully into glory at his home with his family by his side.

He was born on June 18, 1963 to the late Jerry and Pat Stephens.  On June 16, 1988, he married the love of his life, Cathleen Jo Cripe.  They were married 34 years.

David was a real estate appraiser for 20 years at Venture One Appraisals with his father-in-law, Richard Cripe.  He loved Purdue sports, music, gardening and his dog, Hazel.

He is survived by: his wife, Cathy Stephens; cherished daughter, Nicole; brother, Loren (Teresa) Stephens of Waynetown; sister, Tammy (Clay) Willmore of Spring Hill, Tennessee; step-mother, Donna Stephens of Crawfordsville; mother-in-law, Diana Cripe of Lafayette; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Dean) Tillema of DeMotte, Indiana and Charlene (Charles) Turner of Portland, Maine; one niece, seven nephews and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 to Noon on Saturday, Oct. 15th at Fremont Street Baptist Church, 1908 Fremont Street, Crawfordsville, IN.  A celebration of life will begin at Noon with Pastor Dan Aldrich officiating.  The family would like to thank Holly and Kylee at Southern Care Hospice for their care of David.
