Daniel Anthony Nehila passed away on Monday morning at his home in Richmond, Indiana.  He was 39.

Daniel served his country in the U.S. Navy.  He attended school at Lebanon, Indiana and graduated from North Harford High School in Maryland.  He later earned a plumbing certification and was working as a licensed plumber for D.B. Plumbing.  Daniel was baptized at Life's Journey Church in Lebanon.

He was born May 31, 1983 in Havre de Grace, Maryland.

Surviving family includes: mother and step-father, Amelia and Larry Hathaway of Crawfordsville, Indiana; father and step-mother, William T. Nehila, Jr. and Deanna Lohman-Nehila; grandfather, William T. Nehila, Sr. of Maryland; son, Brody Nehila; daughter, Sophia Nehila; brothers, Michael Nehila, Jonathan Hathaway and Andrew Hathaway; sister, Natalie Hathaway.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Life's Journey Church, 522 Powell Street, Lebanon, Indiana on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 1 PM to 4 PM.  A memorial will be held at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash, Crawfordsville on Friday, Dec. 2 from 2 PM to 6 PM, concluding with a prayer service at 6 PM.

There will also be a visitation from 2-3:00 PM with celebration of life to follow at 3:00 PM on December 10th at McComas Family Funeral Home , 1317 Cokesbury Road, Abingdon, Maryland.
