Dallas Wayne Switzer Sr., 74, of Crawfordsville, passed away at his home on May 12, 2024, due to a heart attack. He was born on January 26, 1950, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, to Mary Leonard Switzer and James Switzer.

Dallas was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and later worked as a mechanical engineer for many years at both Mid-States Steel & Wire and B&L Engineering.

He is survived by his daughter, Sonja (Robert) Bratcher of Crawfordsville; his son, Dallas Jr. (Jennifer) Switzer of Lafayette; his sisters, Donna (Fred) Miles of South Daytona, FL, Karen West of Crawfordsville, IN, and his brother, James Switzer of San Bernadino, CA. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Dallas was predeceased by his parents, his brother-in-law, Dave West, and his beloved dog, Bear.

Known for his private nature, Dallas's life will be commemorated privately, in accordance with his reserved and solitary nature.
