Cory Patrick Morgan of Lafayette passed away Saturday, May 29 ^th at IU Arnett.  He was 38.

Cory was a gamer.  He loved video games, card games, board games and games of all kinds.  He also loved Star Wars.  He worked several places, including Wal-Mart and McDonald's.

Born June 14, 1982 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Rollan E. Morgan and Darlene Ann Jones Morgan.  He graduated from Attica High School, class of 2000.

Surviving family includes: brother, Christopher Morgan of Lafayette; aunt, Carlona Phillips of Texas; cousins, Luhana Hardin of Texas and Carl Phillips of Texas; close family friend that was like a sister, Patty Reese of Covington.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

His family will hold a celebration of life on Monday, June 14 ^th at the home of one of his friends in Lafayette.  There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, June 15 ^th at 3 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery North.  Burkhart Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
