Connie Jones of Crawfordsville passed away Friday afternoon at the Ben Hur Home.  She was 55.

Connie liked to cross-stich and watch all kinds of sports, especially racing.  She also enjoyed word games.  She attended Fremont St. Baptist Church and worked at Houston Group Homes.

Born June 12, 1964 in Crawfordsville, she was raised by her grandparents, Kenneth J. Thompson and Helen M. Thompson.  She attended grade school in Mellott and then Southeast Fountain.  She married Keith Jones on Sept. 27, 1986 in Hillsboro.  He survives.

Surviving family includes: husband, Keith Jones; biological father, Carl Dean Brewer; two sisters, Kim Hutson, Kay Wolfe; mother-in-law, Phyllis Patton; cousin, Debbie McCullough (Chuck), several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Candy Thompson, and mother, Patricia Thompson Pritchard.

Memorial services, led by Pastor Dan Aldrich, will be 2 PM Saturday, July 27 ^th at Fremont St. Baptist Church.  Visitation will start at 1 PM.
