Connie Sue Carter of Browns Valley passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon at her daughter's house.  She was 60 years old.

Connie was a stay-at-home mother to her two children.  She liked to color and to help others.  She loved animals, music and enjoyed having a good time whenever she could.

Born Sept. 30, 1960 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Clarence B. Carter and Catherine Kelsey Carter.  She attended school in Crawfordsville.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Jessica Wray of Indianapolis; son, Neal Wray of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Cindy Carter and a brother, Chris Carter.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, Dec. 31 at Oak Hill Cemetery North with family members sharing memories of Connie.  Arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home.
