Clarence William Graves "Bud"

Feb. 12, 1940-March 12, 2023

Clarence W. "Bud" Graves of Hillsboro passed away Sunday afternoon at home. Born to Geraldine Hinds and Charles B. Graves on Feb. 12, 1940 in Lafayette. He was 83 at the time.

Bud loved the Lord. He was true to himself and others. He graduated from Coal Creek Central High School. He was an avid IU fan for basketball and football. He enjoyed horseback riding and broke his own horses. He liked to make toys and also authored a book, "Tin Flakes."  He worked at R.R. Donnelley for 31 years and served his country in the National Guard.

Survived by; His wife, Tina Graves of Hillsboro; daughter, Debra Brown of Florida; son, Bryan Graves of Crawfordsville; 3 step-daughters and 1 step-son, sister, Patty Bymaster; fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Leroy "Roy" Graves.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Friday, March 17 th at the New Richmond Cemetery, with his sister, Rev. Patty Bymaster officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.

Family is asking for any donations to be contributed to the Crawfordsville Public Library.
