Chryston Jo Wood of Waynetown passed away Wednesday afternoon at the age of 36.

Born May 19, 1988 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Christopher Wood and Sondra Collier Wood. She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 2006.  Chryston liked music, coloring and spending time with nieces and nephews.  She was previously employed at McDonald's and later at an antique store.

Surviving family includes: parents, Christopher and Sondra Wood; son, Devry Strong; two sisters, Lacey LaFata and Kelsey Wood.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, a sister, Tena Wood and a niece, Cheyanna.

A celebration of the life of Chryston Wood will be held by her family later this year.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
