Christopher David Jackson of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday. He was 42.

He was born December 20, 1976 at Stuart, Florida.  He enjoyed fishing, art, concerts and heavy metal music.  On October 9, 2010 he married Shannon Pitman at New Ross.  She survives.

Christopher attended Southmont High School and had been working at Crawford Industries.

Additional surviving family members include his mother Teresa (Larry) Vance of Crawfordsville; sons Christopher Patrick Jackson of Cloverdale and Zachary Leslie of Crawfordsville; daughters Samantha McClure and Marlina Leslie, both of Crawfordsville; grandchildren Takoda McClure and Devina Leslie; and brothers Jeremy (Katie) Vance and Victor Jackson, both of Crawfordsville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Jackson; a brother, Joseph Vance; grandmother Maxine Elliot and grandfather Melvin Cranmore.

A memorial service led by Pastor Tennyson Fitch will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 13 at the River of Life Church, 1047 S. State Road 47, Crawfordsville.
