Cheryl Lynn Crowder of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday evening at Franciscan Health East in Lafayette.  She was 59.

Cheryl worked as a cook for Pilot and Subway, as well as several area schools.  She was a member of Crosspoint Fellowship.  She enjoyed motorcycles and loved to ride on the back of her husband's Harley-Davidson.  She also liked cooking and shopping for things.

Born May 10, 1962, in Hinsdale, Illinois, she was the daughter of Frank Conner and Thelma Buck.  She attended school at South Vermillion.  She married Fred Crowder on April 15, 1995.  He survives.

She was loved and will be missed by her surviving family, which includes: husband, Fred Crowder; son, Jack (Jill) Conner; grandsons that she raised, Nicholas and Gabriel Crowder; grandchildren, Jazon, Kaylee, Brooklynn, Hannah; father, Frank Conner; brother, Dennis; three sisters, Helen, Christine and Jenny.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM on Monday, Sept. 20 ^th at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will be in the funeral home at 11 AM on Tuesday, Sept. 21 ^st , led by Pastor Chris Cregger.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
