Charlotte Shortridge of New Market passed away Sunday evening at Franciscan Health of Crawfordsville at the age of 69.

Charlotte liked gardening and planting flowers.  She enjoyed going to art festivals and the farmer's market.  She liked to cook and enjoyed preparing meals for others, giving back in any way she could.  She loved playing with her cat, travelling, and spending time with friends.  Most of all, she cherished her family.

Born Nov. 18, 1953 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Fred Ingersoll and Geraldine "Jerry" Allen Ingersoll.  She graduated from Crawfordsville High School, then worked in shipping and receiving at Alcoa (now CSI) where she was a very hard worker.

Surviving family includes her daughter, Winter Adams of Crawfordsville and her long-time companion, Danny Shaw, as well as his family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Phil Ingersoll.

A private celebration of her life will be announced later.  Her final resting place will be at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
