Charles Anthony Lee
March 5, 1960-March 6, 2024


Charles Lee of Indianapolis passed away Wednesday morning at Eskenazi Hospital at the age of 64.


Mr. Lee was a member of Greater Grace Church in Muncie, Indiana.  He worked at Subaru several years and later at Fairfield and Alcoa in Lafayette.  He liked to play golf, play guitar, and listen to old-school music.  He enjoyed horticulture.  Most of all, he loved his grandkids and spending time with his family.
Charles was the son of the late Bishop Clarence I. Lee and Betty Mosley Lee.  He attended Northwest High School and earned his GED in Crawfordsville.  He also attended Ivy Tech, where he took classes in horticulture and computer programming.


Surviving family includes: two daughters, Jessica Lee and Jalesa Lee; seven grandchildren, Alexah Thompson, Terence Thompson, Jr., Kamryn Kroegher, Kayci Kroegher, Pierce Axton, Preston Axton and Preya Axton; dear friend and former spouse, Jacci Lee; brothers and sisters, Kevin (Stephanie), David (Andrea), Gerald (Kim), William (Angela), Stephen (Tamara), Jeannine (David), Patrick (Jana), Mary (Cordell), Jeffrey (Shanda), John (Lynetta), Joyce (Jimmy), and Josef (Alisa).


His brother Kenneth Lee recently passed away last week as well.


He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Benjamin Lee and Clarence "Junie" Lee, Jr.


A viewing will be held Saturday, March 16th at 12 noon and the funeral service will start promptly at 2PM at First Baptist Church in Crawfordsville.  Minister Henry Mosley of Heartland Church will be officiating the service.  Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
