Catherine May Butler

October 30, 1969 - August 2, 2026

Catherine May Butler passed away at Union Hospital in Terre Haute on August 2, 2026, she was 56.

Born in Crawfordsville, on October 30, 1969 she was the daughter of Chester and Roberta LaFollette Caldwell. In August of 1989 she married Lawrence "Larry" Butler, he survives. Catherine's most proud accomplishments are her children in which she was able to be a stay-at-home mom.

Catherine is survived by her husband; children, Tiffany Chavez, Nathanial Butler, Destiny Butler and Brian Hopkins; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Jacklyn Joiner and Barb Skaggs; brother, Donnie Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; son Lawrence Butler; sister, Annie Bennett; and brother Bud Endicott.

A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, August 13 from 3 PM to 5PM at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville. Service will follow visitation at 5 PM.
