Carroll Ray "Buddy" Reynolds of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday afternoon at Franciscan Health of Lafayette at the age of 76.

Buddy was a millwright in the steel mills in Northwest Indiana.  He attended school at Burlingsburg, Kentucky.  He liked fishing, camping, and family outings in the parks.

Born Dec. 6, 1946 in Central City, Kentucky, he was the son of Ray Reynolds and Sarah Elizabeth Wells Reynolds.  He married the former Ella Mae Payne on March 17, 1975 in East Chicago.  She passed away June 4, 2014.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Linda Larson; son, Dan (Lin) Engelmann; daughter, Bonita Dornhecker; son, David Engelmann; daughter, Carolyn Lombardo; daughter Diane (Philip) Gutierrez, son, Donald Ray Reynolds; son, Roger Reynolds; brother, Rick (Linda) Reynolds of Campbellsville, KY; sister, Elizabeth Faye Adler of Central City, KY; forty-five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a son, Tim Engelmann.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery at 3 PM.  People are welcome to start gathering at the cemetery at 2.  Arrangements were made through Burkhart Funeral Home.
