Bryan Scott Steele

Bryan Scott Steele of Crawfordsville passed away Monday afternoon at Witham Hospital at the age of 61.

Bryan worked at R.R. Donnelley for 23 years.  He graduated from North Putnam High School and got a certification through Ivy Tech in Terre Haute.  He was an outdoorsman that liked fishing and shooting at the gun range.  He also enjoyed working on engines and family get-togethers.

Born Dec. 4, 1962 in Greencastle, he was the son of Ed Steele and Gail Crodian Steele.  He married Peggy McDonald.  She survives.

Surviving family includes: wife, Peggy Steele of Crawfordsville; daughter, Brittany Steele of Crawfordsville; son, Jonathan Addler (Shea) of Cloverdale; sister, Donna Williams (Jerry) of Greencastle; brother, Mike Steele (Rhonda) of Heritage Lake; three grandchildren, Jaylinn, Sloan, and Alaina; several nieces and nephews along with his two "fur babies" Kai and Myla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Gary Steele and Edgar Steele, Jr. along with sister-in-law, Lynne Steele.

The Steele family wishes to acknowledge the staff at Witham Hospital in Lebanon for the wonderful care and kindness shown in this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held at Crosspoint Fellowship, 1350 S Ladoga Rd, Crawfordsville, IN 47933 on August 3, 2024 from 2 PM-5 PM  Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
