Brian Edward Consoer, 53, passed away Thursday night at Franciscan Health of Lafayette.

Brian started as a welder, doing construction.  He later worked at R.R. Donnelley for several years and then worked at Zippy Lube for over 8 years.  He had the biggest heart and would help people even when he himself had very little. He enjoyed music, motorcycles, tattoos, movies, was an avid gun collector and collector of Nascar memorabilia.

Born Nov. 15, 1968 in Lafayette, he was the son of Edward L. Consoer and Paulette Hurt.  He attended school at North Montgomery.

Surviving family includes: his long-time partner, Susan Risner; brother, Jason (Rebecca) Roche; nephew, Garrett Roche; niece, Alli Roche; maternal grandmother, Edith Hurt; step-mother, Judy Consoer; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandfather, Otha Paul Hurt and paternal grandparents, Everett Consoer and Lela Consoer.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2:30 PM Wednesday at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 2:30, after which he will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
