Brenda Mosier of Lafayette passed away Friday evening at Glasswater Creek.  She was 80 years old.

Brenda attended the Pentecostal Church of God.  She worked at Sam's Club as a demonstrator.  She wrote poetry and enjoyed puzzle books.  She was a graduate of cosmetology college.

Born July 6, 1943 in Oaktown, Indiana, she was the daughter of Russell Leak and Julia Leak.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Cheryl Demoret of Crawfordsville; son, Ronald Mosier of Illinois; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Michael Mosier.

Memorial services will be at Burkhart Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 27th at 4 PM, led by Pastor Curtis Brouwer.  Visitation will be from 3 PM until the service.  She will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Garden in Bloomington, Indiana at a later date.
