Betty Sue "Susie" Johnson

Betty Sue "Susie" Stephenson Johnson of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday night at Franciscan Health of Lafayette.  She was 65.

Susie was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary for over 30 years.  She enjoyed playing Bingo. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family and especially loved her grandchildren.  She was loved by a lot of people.

Born Dec. 30, 1958 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Jack Stephenson and Neva Stephenson.  She graduated from Crawfordsville High School and worked at R.R. Donnelley.

Surviving family includes: four sons, Jason Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Joshua Johnson and Michael Belcher; daughter, Kayla Johnson; five sisters, Becky, Sally, Jackie, Lori and Bobbi; brother, Chico; twenty grandchildren, Kendra, Alyssa, Jeremiah, Taylor, Nevaeh, Jaden, Gavin, Chase, Bentley, Angel, Aubrey, Kaden, Braden, Daegan, Addalyn, Dakota, Daria, Slade, Sawyer and Jaden; along with a small handful of great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

She resides in Heaven with her parents, one sister, Rita Wise, and twin granddaughters, Hannah and Lexi.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 PM Wednesday, July 31st at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 West Wabash.  Services will begin at 2 PM, led by Rick Hernandez.
