Betty L. Richardson, age 96, of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of Akron, Ohio and Crawfordsville, passed away Jan. 17, 2021.

She was a member of the High Street Christian Church in Akron.  Betty was an excellent homemaker, loved gardening and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by: her daughter, Darcy (Jim) Arnold of Dublin, Ohio; granddaughters, Ashley (Steve) Pennington of Upper Arlington, Ohio and Angela (Brian) DeNoble of Powell, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Grant and Elena Pennington, Adalyn and Alyssa DeNoble.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Jack Richardson, son, Kerry Kitts, parents, Clarence and Waunetta Steele and brother, William Steele.

Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, from 1 to 2 PM Saturday, Jan. 23, followed by a service at 2 PM with Pastor Rick Nuzum officiating.  Visitation will be from Noon to 1 PM Monday, Jan. 25 at Burkhart Funeral Home, 201 W. Wabash, Crawfordsville, with services starting at 1 PM, led by Mark Stevens.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Ave.
