Betty Fields of Brook, Indiana, formerly of Linden, passed away Wednesday night at Franciscan Health Lafayette.  She was 69.

Betty worked as a secretary at Crown Laundry in Lafayette and at Cintas.  She liked coloring, watching Netflix, playing bingo and playing games with her nieces and nephews.

Born Sept. 15, 1952 in Glasgow, Kentucky, she was the daughter of James Bedford Fields and Annetta Harlan Fields.  She graduated from North Montgomery and Ivy Tech.

Surviving family includes: mother, Annetta Fields of Brook; two sisters, Sandie Richards and Sherry Hoy, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her dad and a brother, James Michael Fields.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 PM Tuesday, April 12th at Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, Indiana.  Funeral services will be held at the Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, Kentucky, on Thursday, April 14th, followed by a burial at the Janes Cemetery.
