Beatrice L. "Betty" Clark, age 96, of Clarks Hill,  passed away Sept. 3, 2020 at Mulberry Health Care after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Charles and Nona Lamb of Lafayette. She was married in 1947 to Hal B. Clark, who preceded her in death in 1997. Betty was a life-long housewife and helped her husband on the family farm. She loved raising all types of animals, and she passed that love of animals on to her grandkids and great grandkids.  She enjoyed showing chickens at the fair, and also helped Hal show Yorkshire pigs, and she loved her pet dogs, especially her little Boston Terrier, Misty.  Betty's hobbies included reading, latchhook, and visiting with her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie (Butch) Dale, her brother Eddie (Nancy) Lamb, her four grandkids, Neil (Summer) Dale, Shelle (Jeff) Norman, Clark (Brandy) Dale, and Brett (Erica) Dale, and her eight great-grandkids, Journey, Grady, Marley, Drew, Macee, Kyran, Ava, and Iris, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, her brothers Clarence and Charles, and sister Ruby, preceded her in death.

Burkhart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, with services for family only. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Clarks Hill. Donations in her memory may be made to Montgomery County 4-H or the Animal Shelter.
