Obituary

Barbara was born on December 17, 1937 to Alma Clestine and Guy Creasy in Lebanon, IN.   She graduated from Dover High School.
Barbara was married to Blaine Taylor Tracy from 1956-1961.
She was employed at RR Donnelly, in Crawfordsville, where she met and married William Lynn Crowe on December 14, 1963 where upon they merged their families, which included 4 daughters: Jeannie and Brenda Tracy and Gwenda and Lucinda Crowe. Later they were blessed with two sons: William Alan and Daniel Jason Crowe.
They began share farming in 1965 in the Darlington area, then Wingate area, and eventually established Crowe farms in Darlington, which they farm with their youngest son Dan (Shelly) Crowe.
Barbara was a kind, sweet, hardworking mother, daughter, niece, and wife. She worked as a homemaker and performed many jobs on the farm. She devoted several years caring for her first born son Alan, who was stricken with leukemia at age 3. She spent many years caring for her elderly parents.
Barbara attended and was an active member of the Darlington Congregational Christian Church until her health failed. Barbara had a beautiful singing voice and she often sang and played her harpsichord, organ, and piano at church service. Her faith in God carried her through many hard trials. She was a talented artist and her drawings and painting will be cherished by her family.
She loved playing Euchre with her husband and friends. She was a better than average bowler. She loved her flower gardens and adored her outside kitties.  She hosted many family gatherings through the years and made the best pies (except for the ones she accidentally used salt instead of sugar), those pies were talked about for many years.
She loved her wonderful caregiver and friend Liz Downey.  Together they did many puzzles, read the bible, and worked on art projects.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 59 years William Lynn Crowe "WildBill", her daughters Jeannie (Keith) Boutall of Fort Wayne, Brenda (Allan) Clauser of Crawfordsville, Gwenda (Matt) Fishero of Crawfordsville, Lucinda (Robert) Layne of Port Charlotte, Fl. and her son Dan (Shelly) Crowe of Darlington, her nieces Sheri (Rex) Cook of Lebanon and Shelly Cunningham of Florida.
She had 12 grandchildren: Ryan & Caleb Thayer, Jay-Paul Grubbs, Taylor Rittenhouse, Nick Boutall, Creasy Huntsman, Alex Clauser, Miranda & Savannah Crowe, and Hilary, Elise, and Jared Boutall. She had 9 great grandchildren Aubri, Bentley, Knox, Georgia, Molly, Norah, Jackson, Layla and Veronica.
The family has chosen to have a private service. Barbara will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetary in Darlington.
