Barbara Wanda Allen of Crawfordsville passed away Sunday morning at Whitlock Place.  She was 90.

Mrs. Allen liked helping others and leading Bible study at Whitlock.  She was a member of First Baptist Church and had recently been attending Prairie Creek Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Waynetown High School.

Born Feb. 2, 1931 in Opdyke, Illinois, she was the daughter of Harry Dale and Irene Williams.  She married George C. Allen, Jr. on Oct. 9, 1949 in Waynetown.  He passed away Oct. 31, 2018.

Surviving family includes: daughter, Vickie Minkler of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Mike Allen (Kristy) of Bakersfield, California; six grandchildren, Jennifer Glather (Denny), Philip Allen (Valerie), Gretchen Knaggs (Jason), Sally Meeks (Scott), Kristin Standage (Steve), Kendra Harris (Jacob); ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joan Eads and Carolyn Wright.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Patricia Stephens.

There will not be a public visitation.  Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 18 ^th at 3 PM at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, led by Pastor Loren Stephens.  Burkhart Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory be directed to Prairie Creek Baptist Church, 3304 S. Meridian Road, Kingman, IN 47952.
