Alice Faye Houston Reese of Crawfordsville passed away Monday morning at the age of 90.  Her family was by her side. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Alice worked as a receptionist and secretary at the cable TV office for many years and later retired from Myler Construction.  She was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church.  She liked scrapbooking, watching wildlife, and loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born June 13th, 1934 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Clifford Houston and Clara Widdop Houston.  She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1952 and attended Indiana University.

Surviving family includes two sons, Clint Reese (Cindy) and Joe Reese (Kristy), both of Crawfordsville; nine grandchildren, eight (soon to be nine) great-grandchildren, and one cousin, Sam "Sonny" Houston, and many extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband, Clyde Harry Reese, and her daughter, Denise Reese.

Visitation will be from Noon to 2 PM on Saturday, December 14th at Burkhart Funeral Home.  Services will begin at 2 PM.  After the service, she will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
